Couldn't bump after editing a thread

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but basically if you wanna edit a thread and you forget to bump prior to editing, you can't bump it afterwards. Have to wait another day. I find it redundant as the limitation is supposed to prevent bumping if you have already bumped/commented on the thread.

Excuse me. I find the Garage Sales section & subsection, there's no trace of seller bumping their thread.
Is the feature no longer available?
Now I can only see when the thread was created & no activity after that, so can't tell which is available or which is active.
