Hi all Sifus,

Seeking advise,

Currently driving Proton Preve Premium Turbo, would like to upgrade to bigger car for better comfort.

In terms of Space, Power, FC, reliability, maintenence, which is your favourite choice and why?

Saw Peugeot 3008 (2017) looks good and got the European Car of the year award this recent..

May i know is Peugeot 3008 is as big as Mazda CX5?

Thank you~! tongue.gif

Peugeot --> Looks good, Drive good, once sold, you have to suffer all the losses. 4 years ago people are saying new peugeot not so problematic, award winning prince engine, nice, resales value not a problem, a lot of service centers, bla bla bla. Once you own it, that is the beginning of your nightmare.

If you like bumper car and your passengers enjoy it, get cx-5.

For the past 3 weeks I have been mulling replacing my Suprima S for a SUV if I have an addition to the family. However, I have ample time and need to get the wife to try to ingress/egress first out of the SUV. Not sure the height is a problem if she is pregnant.

After watching, reading reviews. It seems the 2017 CRV is the winner. In terms of practicality, RV, service centre. However this would only be great if they bring the 7-seater option where kids can seat in the last row. Been watching too much reviews on X-trail, tucson, sportage, santa fe, tiguan and CRV.

I like the Tiguan too with the LED dash and the tray for the rear passangers. However, no android auto, a bit barebones. Yes, you get LED lighting, though maintaining it would be a slight chore since SC are not common. I can see that spare parts are also rare since it is imported.

Try watching these:
Tiguan:Bobby Ang (Malaysian spec Tiguan)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bve4yW4YIjI

CRV: Alex on Autos (this review is so detailed-may bore you if you don't like it to be too technical. I doubt Honda Adaptive cruise control will come here)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEciu_A-1fw

I really think SUV's are the future. Been thinking about this segment for the past month. It drives quite good with decent safety tech. More space for smaller outlay. When using car comparison websites, you can see the boot space amount compared to the same length of the preve to crv.

Tested CRV, CX5 and Xtrail bought Xtrail

booth space Peugeot 3008 kinda small. CX5 is bigger but not as big as CRV and Xtrail.

Driving comfort and passenger comfort, Xtrail win. Surprisingly, it is more powerful than CRV and CX5, i suggest go test drive all 3 to decide.

Bro, if you want space as priority is new Honda CRV.

But if you want comfort as priority, surprising Subaru Forester is the best now.
