I received a letter from Maxis, stating that my ValuePlus Family 30 supplementary lines will be moved to Talk and Surf 1 (priced at RM 38, from April 6).   

The thing is that my supplementary line holders are just using dumb phones, and thus do not know how to use mobile internet. They need only calls and SMSs.

Thus, there is no reason for me to pay RM 8 more per supplementary line, for 1 GB data my supplementary line holders are not going to use.  Even if Maxis gives us Terabytes or Petabytes of mobile data as a part of the "enhanced" package, my supplementary line holders are not going to use even a single bit of data.   

If Maxis really want to increase their average revenue per user (ARPU), Maxis can forcefully upgrade the mobile telephone plan of rich tycoons. Leave us alone, as we are just average joes, living from hand to mouth with meagre pay, struggling with daily cost of living.

I would appreciate any advice given, so that I can give best possible reasons and justifications to Maxis, to maintain ValuePlus Family 30 packages (priced at RM 30 per line per month) as it is.
