Anyone in KL area currently having issues with Maxis Fibre? Mine has no connection even after restarting the modem and router. Calling Maxis Fibre in last 30 minutes and been on hold. Can't get through.

The light indicate something wrong with the fibre cable connection.

Yes, me too, i had the same problem, the internet disconnection happened & it didn't recover back on it's own this time. I had to turn off the power supply of the Maxis router & turn it back on again to get the internet wifi connection working again. Seriously, what is Maxis doing? How can you allow downtime to just happen like that without any information to the end user. What are paying monthly for (if you don't get this thing fixed?

So, finally someone answered the phone after calling Maxis Fibre customer service for 5 hours! They informed me there is a network problem in my area and will take 6 to 8 hours to fix.

Maxis confirmed fiber and 4G/4G+ outage in certain areas last night in KL in their twitter. When I woke up this morning, back to normal.
No wonder when I tried to tether my phone to my lap top last night, I was getting less than 1 Mbps speed. |
