from sidek brothers, to hashim brothers, to wong choon han, to lee chong wei. now oso goh v shem, tang wee kiong, chan peng soon. how come we can produce so many talented players that even japan/korea/indonesia cant?

Asian got skill, western got stamina.

That's why, gymnastic, ping pong, badminton, Asian better.

Swimming, running, weight lifting is western.

Squash is d only sport dis country actually excelled in n only her.

Shes d consecutive 7th time or 8th time world champ i cant recall

Badminton is really 2nd fiddle, n lets not talk about football lol

I think is a cultural thingy. Dad plays badminton, bring children there. They pick up. Never heard of middle class working folks bring their kids to tennis or golf

Tennis needs alot of strength more than badminton
Agree with cultural thing, asians r not much into tennis

sports have always been a source of inspiration for people... in malaysians case, you can say all of them have inspired the next generations, that's why we have one badminton player after another.
