how many xbox 360 defacts are out there? many say 360 have defacts 1rod,2rod,3rod,4rod or any thing pls post. if your xbox are ok pls post how you taking care your xbox.

my have 1rod HDD error 67 HDD every time i start to play game but after restart ok.

note my xbox is make on july 06

If I'm not mistaken the position of the red light and the number tells you what the error is, and therefore there are a number of errors with the same number of rings meaning differently.

3 Red (ROD) - Hardware failure
1 Red - aiya......forgot maaaa )

I had Error 67 too when i got mine. Ended up scrapping the HDD that came with it, used a brand new one purchased from DVDBoxoffice. No error whatsoever since. Done some "surgery" on the fcuked-up HDD as well, you dont want to see what happened to it.

update today it when kaput even restart can't help anymore. what happened to it stringfellow?

HD problem kua... a lot of post also say so..
maybe try to remove the HDD then start it up..
if it starts then it is that problem...
go n claim or replace one urself...

Had to remove the HDD and used a Memory Unit to load my profile in, then it works. The HDD had been in a landfill somewhere since. At least you guys are lucky to have referencing material and anecdotal reports from other owners now, at that time i had this problem, there is nothing to refer to other than what few lines of sentences MS have in their Xbox FAQ.

US Xbox 360, at that time, no such things as "return back to <insert shop here> to claim warranty" or "go to Singapore and fill in details for 1-to-1 exchange". My Xbox 360 is the Zero Hour Xbox 360, meaning it comes from that Microsoft Mojave desert launch event. This alone would have scared non-early adopters, with the usual "first batch is buggy and problematic" line of thoughts, but i see more "younger" batches than mine dropping like flies.

so two xbox got error only? anyone?

xbox 360 is a good console and i think they will win the console war,but alot of hardwear error as i know.

can this error 67 be softwear problem?the shop guy say is the softwear.but i think it the HDD only.
