I need recommendations fot laptop below 5k.. thinking of getting toshiba but the price i think cant make it. Hope it will b a centrino. the better specs the better.

brand im interested is DELL IBM TOSHIBA.. anyone can help to do comparison between them? Tanks...

ANyway Mr Dorr up there, i think u should try to look out brands like IBM TOSHIBA DELL, they also offer laptop wif specs like other though but i think they r more reliable... U can get better specs wif IBM coz the price in malaysia is much more cheaper compare to the price oversea. coz IBM have a factory in malaysia. DELL have the best service compare to other brand. TOSHIBA n FUJITSU well known n best sell in other countries also. Try to look in more other way then looking at the processor speed. Well, im also looking for a laptop so i think we can help up each other. correct me if im wrong.

best word to describe notebook is
"GOOD THING NO CHEAP, CHEAP THING NO GOOD...."
actually not no good la, is not tat good la.. as far as i know now in notebook, Fujitsu and Toshiba is the best among the laptop i know. IBM is wellknown in its reliability, but the design is like a "stone". Dell for its sevices.

Well, its all depend on ur budget too.... good luck to tose who r goin to buy laptop
