Well, I guess why not give Dell Inspiron 8500 a try... Value for money and yet among the most powerful laptops available in the market (You can get the most powerful mobile graphics card with Inspiron 8500). I've been using Inspiron 8200 for almost a year, no glitches at all. Btw, I really love my 15" UXGA Enhanced with Dell UltraSharp Technology (It really makes your LCD look better than standard monitors)... You don't really find many UXGA laptops in the market.
Many retailers pointed out that Dell have a poor after sale services when the warranty expires. Well, so far, my laptop is in 100% working condition even after a year. Hmm, who ever want to send their laptops back to the factory a few times a year even if they have excellent after sale services?
