 how to check someone's, marriage status?

Is there anyway we can get info on someone's marital status? I look up on google but all of them is not helping

unless intend to marry in south Thailand, am very sure JPN will check the marriage status of partner b4 it gives the green light.

I am sure the jabatan agama will cross check if he has been married b4 because when I got married, the JPN will post my information and my wife's on the board to notify everybody in case got objection.

Its not me, its my sister.

As for his past, she only relies info that came from his mouth.

I dont think so. If that true, why many wives didnt realized their husband married another woman?
