Sup techies.. So... I am struggling to choose between:

A)- OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ax220TX
B)- Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming (7567)

Basically I just need a laptop that can play some high-end games and also for designing work in Solidworks.
Both the laptops are equipped with 8gb ram, i7 processor and GTX1050 graphic card (only diff. is one is using GTX1050 TI).

Also, have anyone face any problem with the mentioned laptops? If you have any other laptop which is also around RM 5k, feel free to recommend it to me xD ..am not a tech guy.. so i need some good recommendation from you all biggrin.gif

Thanks in advance ya...

you can add one more laptop into your comparison

Lenovo Legion Y520

http://www.lelong.com.my/11-mar-lenovo-leg...8-03-Sale-P.htm

well if choose between hp and dell, I will choose dell.

product quality i really dunno, but at least dell customer support are very good.

that model look more cool too. and driver software support are far better.

I also want to buy laptop but no money cry.gif the cheaper brand lenovo also need RM4.6k , if I sell my desktop pc at most i can gather to 3k-3.5k only cry.gif

Thanks for your input cyrus thumbup.gif

Initially I also wanted to go for dell, but thinking that dell's battery always get hot easily and normally doesnt last long based on my personal experience (that's what happen to my other dell laptops), so i hold back the decision. LOL... and now you are giving me one more option biggrin.gif tough to decide eih hahahhaha

for ts he already comparing rm5k product

of coz i will recommend him at least the rm3.2k lenovo with gtx1050 rather than the gtx960m laptop as recommended above. gtx1050 at least 20% better in graphic performance compare to gtx960m. furthermore the 960m cost 3.8k... not worth at all. meanwhile the lenovo i7 gtx1050 baru rm4k, just rm200 difference...

as for me i die die also won't buy so so product edi. (说好不是,说不好又不是,半桶水半天吊的product) 3.2k and 4.6k, i surely will save $$ to 4.6k baru buy.

I also checking out Dell 7567, Acer Vx5 and Lenovo Y520/Y720.
All 3 of them are similar specs.
Processor all have I7-7700
All come with 4GB DDR 4 ram
Acer/Lenovo use IPS panel, while Dell using TN panel
All using Nvidia GTX 1050 TI graphics
Sound wise Dell> Acer> Lenovo (base on review from youtube, personally i have not tried yet)
Dell have better build quality compare to Acer/Lenovo
Battery life wise Dell > Acer > Lenovo

not sure if i miss out anything...
