I requested for quotation to replace old metal deck awning with new (also metal deck type) for area size about 18 x 7 ft. The contractor quoted RM5,500 which I think is too expensive. Can anyone advise whether this price is reasonable?

If you don't mind, let me know what is the reasonable price for metal type awning for area size approx 18 x 7 ft including dismantling the old metal type awning. I have attached the metal type sample photo from Lazada.

Hi, thanks for your response. I am staying in Klang if you do serve this area. Before I invite you for site visit, may I know roughly how long it will take for such works? Recently there were few in my neighbourhood did the awning works, some contractors tend to do few hours a day then not coming the next day so taking long time to complete. My concern here is mainly because I need to find place to park my cars. If contractor takes a long time to do, I will have problem for parking.
