Got my Proton Iriz 1.3 cvt in 2015, mileage is approaching 10k. So far, the following problems have been fixed:
- 'Tikus' sound at dashboard
- Child lock not working (on or off, passenger cannot open from inside)
- Fuel smell in the car after pumping

Now, new problems emerged:

- I noticed on a few occasions that my car would jerk when I was slowing down (happened between 20-35 km/h and doesn't happen always)

- Reverse sensor. It seems to work fine but I suspect it's not consistent. Once I bumped into a car at the back during reverse.. the sensor didn't produce any alarm. In this case I'm not sure whether it's the sensor problem, or it was because the car showed up from the lorong abruptly. I was reversing the car pretty slowly.

- Power window problem. I couldn't believe it when my driver side window wouldn't wind up anymore.. never occurred to me that would still happen to a new car model of Proton. I was struggling for at least half an hour including restarting the engine, eventually I had to leave my car there at the office carpark with the window opened (and asked the security guard to look after my car for me). Went to the service center and they sprayed something to the surrounding of the window, and the window could be wound up again. They told me the window has run out of lubricant and this spray may last until next service. Then the next day, I noticed that the window struggled to go up.. and was getting worse the following days. Now I don't wind down the window anymore, I open the door to get/insert ticket. I'm afraid that one of these days it may just decide to die off completely. Any advice, people???

ask them to replace whole window or motor. mine cant wind up, turnt out motor got problem. replaced the motor
bro you need to push them

i once ask this SC to order my power window motor. 1 month pass, they didnt order or do anything. then fedup, called COSE, ask them, they said part is ready. straightaway book time and install.

I wonder why the motor just stops working after some time.. not receiving sufficient power supply? faulty product? Can it happen again after replacing the motor? And if it's affecting driver window, could it also happen to the other windows ONE day? I seldom carry passengers and use the other windows anyway. This problem really concerns me especially during the rainy season and the issue catches me by surprise.. also the parking I have at home is outdoor.. so it's no difference than saying "Welcome and visit my car" biggrin.gif
