Guys..my iriz model 2015 is reluctant to start this morning...the battery icon shows weak batt!..can i change myself with new battery or should i tow it to service center for check up?..tq for response..

My 1.6 iriz is 2015 model but i bought it in june 2016 (with discount of course)..this morning the car failed to start. I wonder how could the batt goes 'kong' as it is only 1 year 1 month after bought. The mileage shows 28100 km. B4 this i drove satria( bought new ) for solid 3 years with no batt faulty from stock.
By the way my iriz just wonderful to drive..always put on smiley face..excellent handling etc!

Mine is 1.6 cvt premium..so far all the while i ve got no issues on faulthy things here and there as mentioned in this forum..maybe i got lucky but unlucky on aspect of battery..i m going to see service centre this coming monday for what type of batt they ve on shelf to buy/ and asking about reflashing / update on tcu..

Juz to share my situation on batt. Bought same spec fr iriz brand century marathon at spareparts shop. All in all being priced at rm 175.00..including gst and redeem old batt. Now my iriz run back beatifully and satisfied with those processes 😎thanks guys

1. B4 changing, my former batt was completely flat!.pulled out and waited 15 minutes then put a new batt.
2. Started the engine with no prob..one crank only!..
3. Then i noticed anti -slides icon lighted for about 15 minutes, afterwhich it was gone after driving 3 or 4 km
4. I noticed too, nothing has affected on the equipme nts, radio etc.
5. The car just as good as new 😍
