I just got a message from Ninja Van -

"Avoid unforeseen delays to your Lazada Warehouse delivery during this peak period by out OUR CONVENIENT SELF COLLECTION SERVICE ! ...."

lazy buggers plus some of my purchases charge me for shipping so WTF would i go pick up myself?

I won't mind if i didn't have to PAY for DELIVERY first then being told i can do "CONVENIENT SELF COLLECTION".

If they want customers to self-collect then they shouldnt be charging for delivery and give option to select "Convenient" self collection.

sure but it's ridiculous to charge customers for delivery then message them to do "CONVENIENT SELF COLLECTION".

Better to just give option of self-collection without charges first off.

There was once where a courier (can't remember which one) who did call and TOLD me to "sila collect" to which i replied that i paid for DELIVERY ie i sit on my lazy ass and someone sends the item to me.

Not for the lazy ass courier to sit and I get off MY lazy ass to go get it.

I've had an experience with GDex (not lazada item) where when the tracking said it had already arrived at GDex office, I called GDex call center to say do not delivery pls hold for self-collection, found the particular GDex branch where the item was and called that specific branch confirmed item was there , repeated request that item NOT to be delivered pls hold for self collection.

I ran over to collect.

GDex had sent it out for delivery.

Took them another day for item to return to the center.

Then another day to call me to self-collect again.

IDIOTS

This type of experience is a small part of why i won't and don't bother to do the courier's job for them.

You won't feel much difference with airpurifiers unless you have respiratory or sinus issues.
