Nah, just a slight upgrade over my old MSI GE60 2pc. There are also problem with this new laptop I received:

1) Generation 7 for i7 can't use windows 7 or 8 OS anymore. Microsoft doesnt allow updates and driver issues big time, hate windows 10
2) 4GB DDR ram only. Needed to invest in 8gb DDR4 to get more performance
3) Does not come with SSD. Hence need to buy a new one
4) Wifi card cant detect 5ghz signals, only 2.4ghz, sigh...

On the plus side, there is usb type C for future use :V
My old MSI GE60 2pc has everything above with RGB keyboard except usb type C slot and a GTX 850m graphic card

ssd still ok i think. normal hdd got higher chance get a lemon unit...

those are problems.. i can't imagine what mine are i didn't know 7th gen cpus aren't able to handle w7/8 oses. ssd wise.. they'd be crazy to include a 250 ssd with that kind of price. hell i'd buy the lappy even if i didn't need it if it came with the ssd preinstalled

2.4 for better compatibility perhaps?
whack the ram into 8g/ 8gx2 only! all that firepower in your lappy and only 4gb where got enough? (is it possible?)

seems like your model real price is RM3499 not RM3899 so your actual discount is about 10% but still worth it but after upgrading ssd and ram should be also back to RM3.5k

Go ahead and use it. I'm using MicroSD with adapter for all my photos and videos shooting on Sony a7II. No issue at all.
