Yes you need to activate it. I just called RHB CS yesterday & told me this.

Nowadays they give u option either to activate only oncer per transaction or permanent.

Quiet disappointed that early that day one of the CS lying to me about that wrongly marked bank's promotion item.

They claimed that the banks promotion doesnt exist & was marked wrongly in the site.

Then i tried different items with bank promotions logo, but to no avail.

Thats why i was so pissed off & rant at their feedback for lying to me.

nay, i went to sri they are still selling it with retail price.

That 1 year warranty from supplier, Armaggeddon cover the 2 year warranty.
