With regards to the Remax cable being shite - I've used, and have bought for, quite a number of remax cables (the long 2m ones). Used for about 3 months now, still doing alright.

Iianm, Amex you need to call and enable usage for online purchase or something along those lines. Tried using it before for online purchase (Lazada, GSC/TGV) - it all got rejected. I'd recommend using the other card instead. It's not like you'll get cashback for non-weekend purchase anyhow.

No, AMEX is never a payment option available although sometimes ago the AMEX logo could be found at the bottom of lazada pages

just key in ur amex card..it will detect it as amex card. i rmb last time can use before i got the replacement card.

before this both visa and amex cant be used to pay, just called maybank and they tied my visa and amex to my phone number. now visa can buy but amex still can't

damn. i tried last wednesday and it doesnt work.

It always works with both cards.

Sometimes, the system has blacklisted your card, that's why you don't get the discounts. (experienced before with lazada and gemfive)
Just call CS and say card is lost, replace with a new card with new number solves the problem.


SOmetimes, it is the temporary glitch.

come to think of it. i did update the card at details and change the expiry date. Since i replace my Maybank Visa last time.

But i clearly remember i saw the maybank mastercard on lazada front page, and think that, that's the case. Lazada change the TnC.
Because last time, my Visa did get the discount.
