You're partially correct.
If the item has not been tracked before, it will be added for tracking.

If the item has been tracked before, inputting the url will show the history.

Example: if you search by pasting url of a product which exists in the tracker, it will show history. https://pricecampers.com/Products/Search?se...h-21557332.html

No doubt, I must agree that /k/ contributed a lot on adding the products they want to track. You won't believe that the site required infra upgrade within 20 days.

Right now, most important step now is to make sure that the app is stable and weed out some minor bugs here and there.
There are quite alot of improvements being done at the back that you may not realize. Eg. Shifting the images load from database to cdn, DB queries tuning for optimization, the products page paging, and etc.
