Getting Started

|
Has anyone had Microsoft Office on iPad? The installed version, not online subscription version. Does it run good? Will it lag and crash? And what's the experience using it. I need Excel, PowerPoint and Word for my Uni, currently using google sheet and docs but it lacks the function that office has. My laptop is dead heavy, iPad mini lags too much from mobile gaming, so im looking to get an iPad or Ultrabook for work, still considering which one.

I use it extensively on my iPad Pro and with the Apple Keyboard, it is a perfect companion to take notes on OneNote, send emails via Outlook and make updates and changes to slides and documents on Powerpoint and MS Word. The only thing I don't use is MS Excel.

It does crashed when using excel but I'm using iPad 2 which only has 512mb RAM. Word does lag abit but I've never used powerpoint before. Maybe if you used it on the newer model which comes with 2GB RAM or more, then it won't crash or lag.
and get a keyboard with it. Or if ur usage is heavy on excel which requires alot of formulas, just get a laptop. At times the excel even hang on my Thinkpad T440.
