Looking from Management Prospective, LoA is just Positive Thinking with Positive Words. For Example, when deliver less favorable message, instead of “it is Bad” and replace by “it is room for improvements if we could....”. You may find lots of examples from Google.

sutra is for us to learn Buddhism by planting seed in our consciousness .....deswai when u chant there will be "others" will listen ...
mantra or dharani is for us to "use" .... eg, 1 of the function of da bei zhou is to get rid of external force that disturb our practice ...
if u want to benefit others then u can just transfer merit to those being or your ancestor/parent/creditor la ...no need to sit there n listen one ....
btw the whole da bei zhou is buddha name inside, this practice is for inner self practice not for outside material world ....
but i know many fatt si say u chant da bei zhou can fulfilled your wish n blan blah blah .....
remember, spiritual matter will never got any effect on the material thing ...
but da bei zhou is good for health n can cure illness ...
i think last time u say u got chant heart sutra right ? if can, pls chant 108x everyday .....
chanting heart sutra or diamond sutra u can get immeasurable merit bcos prajna parimita is the mother of all buddha ....

I’m afraid none of the religious chanting or practice applicable in my one in a millionth case. All religious practices (mostly claimed to be Buddhism) calmed or confused my mind for my next strategic move.

if u think 108x is too much, then try 49x first la .......

Someone recommended to win the US-China Trade War is to enforcing American chanting 108x XYZ everyday. As long as 30% of Citizens practicing daily, for sure the economy will be collapsed 🤭

Similar for Muslim practicing 5x prayers daily, their overall spiritual power are strongest in the world except weaker in ....

My Respected Psychic Master suggested to my wife practicing a set of chanting with combination of ABC 27x, DEF 49x, GHJ 84x, KLM 87x with few sets a day. Asking her to quit her job and concentrating on her chanting that would be good for ....

Sorry, I don’t buy it.

"Religions" must remember we still live in this mortal world, and have mortal needs. Doing (over-doing) spiritual things and neglecting mortal affairs is sure way to be poor and hungry, or to be in mental asylum.

A religious leader must teach the followers how to survive in this mortal world, as well as to prepare for the next. Some religions only focus on the "next world". Who knows whether such "next world" exists at all, or as how that particular religion describes it.

In ancient China, Heart is referring to the Mind or Thought. When chanting, it is Recommended focus our consciousness on our Heart Position instead of Brain. That reduce wild thought keep flowing in to our brain.

Yes, Taoism and Hinduism, among others, say the mind is a "monkey", uncontrollably jumping from one thought to another.

Another Psychiatric session today with further fine tuning of Dosage & Medicine Combination for Bipolar with Psychosis Symptoms.

The Psychiatrist firmly believed that once the Cocktail is right, the Psychosis State will be gone & waking up into Lucid State.

I’m cautiously optimistic about the positive outcome while close monitoring continue.
