I think that is more of Chinese Folk Religion, than pure Taoism.

Mao Shan (Mao Mountains) in China is the famous place for Taoism.

The most famous Taoists to come from Mao Shan are the Three Mao Brothers. The mountains were previously know as Ju Qu Shan (Ju Qu Mountains) but were renamed Mao Shan to honour the Three Mao Brothers. Mao Ying, Mao Gu and Mao Zhong cultivated themselves to the highest Tao level and ascended to Heaven.

As with any religion practised by men, some Taoists practise the dark side and black magick. Mao Shan is not only famous for the good side of Taoism, but also the black Taoist arts.

Reincarnation in Buddhism includes realm of Hells (Niraya) & Bad Karma but absent in Taoism.?

In my opinion, the after life would be judged by Ten Courts of Underworld 地府十殿 to review all Good & Bad events during his/her life.

Reportedly there are 9 Hells for various punishments if sentenced guilty for respective duration.

After full settlement of all Reward & Punishment, then Memory Reset by drinking MengPo Soup 孟婆湯 & Reincarnation Process accordingly.

In Buddhism’s 3 Generation Life 三世書 where talking about the past, current & next life. If reincarnation process spreads evenly for all lives, are we talking about the past 100 lives as Pig, Worms, Germs, Plants, Fishes, Lions, Birds, ...., Human.

Taoism only emphasize on current form be it Human, Ghost, Spirit, ...., live your life fully.

I’m handling a severe case for past 3 weeks whereby I notice Consciousness/Soul & Physical Body are separate entities.

When Mr A personality, the physical body parameter says 120 pulse rate and 24 breaths per minute with specific Consciousness & Emotional style A.

When a split personality says Mr B switched in the same physical body, all parameter says 80 pulse rate and 16 breaths per minute with entirely unique Consciousness & Emotional style B.

As if a Drunken person can not recall how he/she drove home because it was managed by the Split Personality using the common body.

Both Mr A & B sharing a common body but consciousness exists at different moments without communication with each other.

As a First-aid instructor, that is crazily challenging to prevent a non-stopping further self-harm or suicidal threats. The patient virtually under my 24hours Surveillance at Sight including sleeping.

I have exhausted almost all options from Surgical, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Spiritual Masters, Reiki 靈氣 Master, Talisman, Chantings,....

Luckily I’m a Mainstream Taoist Priest not believing in gods/deities but merely a human dealing with numerous personalities with open mind.

From my understanding of Taoism, gods/deities would never possess a person & controlling his body for whatever intentions.

I respect all spiritual beings for their kind intentions regardless if they are ghosts, goblins, ....

My only question is if a person with predestinated 80y Old life, can the evil forces take victim’s life without Universal Orders?

I almost jumping into opening my 3rd eye forcefully without care of loosing my life essence/energy, pickup sidekick/possession allowing “gods/deities” power to protect my family, ....

I remembered WuWei 無為 & luckily adhered strictly when I’m confused. My test continues but for sure, my knowledge in Tao deepened & determination for overcoming all challenges as a human.

All these are not gods/deities but illusion by the evil spiritual beings.

In the midst of Case Management, the Patient curse that the Soul will be going to Hell paying off his past life Karma.?

I asked specific questions what Sin, When, Where, Which Life, Who, Damages, ...

I’m not convinced without clear understanding & I built up my confidence to face with Hells when necessary.

I’m prepared for Hells without Fear if all my genuine activities in helping Human Beings could not offset my Sin.
