Well, there're still a lot of things that Science does not know yet. However, what it knows, is proven by good scientific process - until someone else finds a new fact to disprove it.

I think the main problem with Science is that all things need to be proven, following Scientific process. Spiritual matters (eg the existence of God(s), Devil(s), angels, demons, djinns, etc) cannot be easily proven by Scientific process, so we need something other than Science for such matters.

The passing of a truly brilliant man, but nevertheless, still a man. May he Rest in Peace.

The LoA believers need to show that ALL that they wished to Attract have come true, not just one or two things among a few hundred that they were trying to Attract.

After all, they are saying it's a LAW.

Under Scientific thought, anything under a Law (eg Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation) MUST come true.

Religion is the Ancient Science &
Tao preposition on Naturalistic Evolution.

Spirituality is the Science of Consciousness involving body-mind-soul where this Serious Kopitiam provided a neutral platform to further explore.

I’m constantly seeking for an Employment for passed 4 years.

- Many Reputable Universities in Malaysia asking for my help as they can’t access to Advanced Knowledge of some Specific Metallurgy. I would not disclose my former Company’s Trade Secret but I could Spearheading Brand New Developments with my knowhow if they willing to hire me. They knew my capabilities but can’t enroll a person without MSc or PhD.?

- A Headhunter shortlisted me for a Top Management position of a global company including MBA Courses. They knew I’m capable but can’t agree that I work while taking the in-house MBA.?

- A Top Global Analysts Company would like me to join if I’m “planning” to take my PhD as their Qualification Requirement. I need to get my Degree, Master Degree then PhD.?

- Steve Jobs, Bill Gates,....I think I must follow their footsteps 🤔

Yes, go for business instead of employment. Employers insist on paper qualifications, then complain that the qualifications did not prepare the student for working life.

- 1997, a genuine U.K. University but not recognized by Malaysia Government, exempted me for 4 papers & only taking 5 papers at RM10k+ in their 1st Distance Learning MBA Program. I declined as Economy Turmoil set in & my wife undergoing an operation then.

- 2012, Cambridge University offered me MBA Program based on my working experience at RM130k+ where I had lengthy discussion with the Enrollment Officer. Cambridge offered me becos I’m capable & they could enjoy my Intellectual Property Right at my expanse with Profit. I’ve declined as I couldn’t recover the investment from the rest of my employment.

Attended a Cantonese Taoist Ritual in Hong Kong of my late uncle.

The Funeral Parlor only available by the 6th week after his departure. All Ritual condensed within a day where Malaysia may take some 100 days for the whole process.

The HK Taoist Priest admitted that they could only apply some 20% of what we normally practice in Malaysia. Highly efficient society.

NB - HK average 100 people rested each day where majority following Cantonese Taoism Ritual at 2 locations (Kowloon & HK) where queuing time from 30 to 60 days for booking.

I wonder is such "shortcuts" negate the benefits of the process.
- If yes, then HK people are "doomed".
- If not, then we should emulate the shortcuts in Malaysia too. Efficiency is always important.

OTOH, I see a great business potential in HK for Taoist practitioners. Open a funeral service, operationalise it, and franchise out to franchisees. After HK, maybe can go to China ... sek em sai (cannot eat finish).

Worldwide accepted:
- Talisman 符籙 written in Simplified Chinese Character 简体字 instead of Traditional Chinese Character 繁體字
- Soka Gakkai 創價學會 only use the Teaching Title Nam-myoho-renge-kyo 南無妙法蓮華經 in Japanese pronunciation. In all Rituals, only a single phrase of the title read out loud repeatedly.

If I were to initiate a new Religion/Faith/Spiritual Organization, I would consider:
- Talisman in English or Alphabets
- 喃嘸老子道德經 NaamMo LouZi DouDakGing in Cantonese Pronunciation or NanFu LaoZi DaoDeJing in Mandarin Pronunciation or The Lord of Nature Classic.

Example if Talisman consists of these words:
Traditional Chinese 風 電
Simplified Chinese 风 电
Transform to Wind-Lightning
We may organize tuition classes for Deities to learn Simplified Chinese & English.

Anyone interested to be pioneer?

If such a good business, 1.38 billion Chinese in Mainland China would have capitalize it with Proximity advantage!!

As urbanization progress, Smoking (Joss Stick) & Public Burning (Joss Paper/Model) getting much restricted. Sooner or later, Smoke Free Environment Control would set in where we must revisit these traditional practices against the Air Pollution seriously.

QingMing 清明節 now where all the Leading Cemetery organizations requesting support from public to minimize Joss Stick, Joss Paper/Model, Cleanliness & no food/drinks left behind. Reportedly they spent 80 workers to clean for some 3 weeks at each dome, spreading mosquitoes, encouraging stray dogs on top of burnings.

A Dilemma of upholding environmental friendly and traditional practices.

Personally, I would uphold Traditional Values more than Practices 😅

Good that Taoism can be so flexible.
There are some religions where the followers are very inflexible, that some even want to live back in the times of the teachers / prophets.
However, I don't think there is any religion that actually preaches that progress is not allowed.

There are several types of Daoist Immortals (Xian). Here are a few of the more common ones seen in both Chinese mythology and Xianxia novels:

Celestial Immortals (天仙 tiānxiān) – also known as Heaven Immortals or Heavenly Immortals. These are high-tier Immortals who’ve ascended to the Heavens. They are also conferred a title and post in the Celestial Bureaucracy.

Earth Immortals (地仙 dìxiān) – these are mid-tier Immortals who have not yet ascended to the Heavens.

Ghost Immortals (鬼仙 guǐxiān) – these are low-tier Immortals who will forever be restricted to the Earth/Underworld. They’ve cultivated too much Yin to be able to ascend to the Heavens.

Loose Immortals (散仙 sǎnxiān) – these are Immortals who, for whatever reason, have lost their position or have not been conferred a title/post in the Celestial Bureaucracy. In some novels, they are instead Immortals who’ve lost their physical body and now exist only in spirit form.
