post event, leave the phone idle.......

didn't receive ex-raid pass again although raided that gym 2 times this week

and that gym was selected for ex-raid for the THIRD time dy

now only got time to play
and event ended

well time just in time for Ho-oh

fk la working outstation for a week only manage to catch and spin once per day...
i want some of the x2 dust and exp lol almost 5m liao

This event I didn't grind also. Just play normally.

In retrospect, maybe I should've... since gen3 just around the corner.

Since everybody's been hoarding rare candies and stardust, one can safely assume that we'll see maxed Gen 3 pseudos like Metagross in gyms almost immediately after launch.

Background:

Metagross is steel/psychic type with huge 257/248/160 stats.

It resist Poison 2x, Psychic 2x, Normal, Flying, Rock, Steel, Grass, Ice, Dragon, Fairy

Its weak to Ground, Ghost, Fire, Dark.

If the moveset combo becomes:

Confusion
Zen Headbutt

Bodyslam
Flash Cannon
Earthquake
Dynamic Punch

What will be your counter?

Bro, i suspect Metagross movesets would be around the lines of:-

Fast - Iron Tail / Metal Claw / Extrasensory
Charge - Flash Cannon / Gyro Ball / Heavy Slam / Mirror Coat / Psychic

Atm, leaning towards Tyra & Fire types (Note: If steel moves tyra has to be swapped out).

Bro, i meant their official statement on distribution of ex raid passes - based on higher number of raids completed, higher gym badge medal, etc. However, the recent 2 waves (last weekend and next monday) still seems to favor low level accounts (i.e. second or third accounts) and inactive players.

if as raid boss or in gym as defender it does not really matter anyway...

but if really wanna talk about counter best would be
Gyarados with BT & CH (ideal counter)
the rest u just need to dodge more
Tyra with BT & CH
Any fire type will do

ghost? lol we all know non of the ghost type in game atm are usable

Tyra still overall a good attacker... just need to dodge more and use up more pot lol
if Xgross got both steel MS then finally we got one strong steel type

how i wish Aggron is as good as tyra and not noob like nidoking/queen
when i play emerald Aggron is my goto pokemon....

Lack of pots is a real issue. Spoke with a guy yesterday battling gym.. he only battles during the weekends cos he needs the rest of the week to collect potions/revives!!!

Lvl 36 but from looks of things he hasn't got much of a clue for battling though... using snorlax vs blissey and raikou vs rhydon.

Aggron looks like its not here not there lor. Glass cannon without the cannon bit.

Nope got no good IV and i ady have few arcanine power up from last time, dont need any more fire

but too bad Aggron maxed out CP is around 2.2k+- iinm

i also notice less ppl attack gym now
maybe due to less of potions drop from spins ??

My area's gym is still quite active though most attackers resort to probing first or sniping.

I reckon its mainly due to the lack of potions.

only legendary raid reward potion now....haha
