Just play longer into MK8D over the weekend halting myself from BoTW for abit.
So glad of this port from WiiU (which I missed) this is the best and most complete MK game for me personally and IMO Nintendo doesn't need MK9 anytime soon or maybe next generation after Switch. I think MK9 will even hard to surpass MK8 now unless it comes with something new again
Btw the smart steering is good for 200cc but takes away the drifting experience and overall fun.

Update version 1.3 QUOTE -Video capture compatibility added. Hold the Capture Button to capture up to 30 seconds of the previous footage.
-The system must be updated to Ver 4.0.0 or higher to use this feature.
-Now more difficult to float down using the glider when Smart Steering is ON.
-Blue Shells no longer hit the second place player when the first place player hasn’t yet crossed the finish line.
-Extended the invulnerability period after spinning out or crashing.
-Changes made to Online Play prior to Ver.1.2.1 now apply to Wireless Play and LAN Play as well:
When further back in a race, will receive better items to help catch up to other players.
No more than one Piranha Plant will appear at a time.
Updating to Ver 1.3.0 will prevent users from Wireless Play or LAN Play with users on Ver.1.2.1 or lower. |

Cant seem to play online with other players. It always gives me error. I use home streamyx/unifi, phone tether, everything cant connect to players. How do I fix this?

How do I fix this? You most likely pick Malaysia as your region which is not supported. Pick other region like USA, Japan and etc. |

Update: i was able to connect to online play when i tether the switch to my phone to use its broadband, seems unstable as it keeps disconnecting. Trying the house internet, still unable to connect. The battle mode is pretty good and fun to play. But I did not invest much of my time playing it as much as I did on the Wii U because yeah everything else is the same. Only play multiplayer vs members here, and also split screen with a few friends. |

Guys, how do you connect online? When I try, it gives me error code 2124-3080 can't be use with current region or country. I know u can use other regions for shop, and this?

No lag at all, very surprising. I play worldwie as well, so that's impressive. |

Not much going in this community for the tournament sadly, so the tournament is closed now. There used to be a lot of people playing it back during the Wii U version, but for some reason the Switch version not as much, so yeah not enough players to held a tournament daily anymore. |
