I say video technology should applied to all the aspect in football. If not as the main "tools", it can be used as reference eg for diving and fighting. Anyway, goal-line technology is a good start. Just want to share with you guys that when the ball is 3/4 off the line, take a look at it from side, the ball has actually lost contact with the pitch/surface due it's round This post has been edited by kimhoong: Mar 6 2007, 10:39 PM

How much does it cost to implement the technology in one stadium?

Getting Started

Interesting topic this. I think there should be some technology to judge whether the ball has crossed the line or not.
But for video replays to judge fouls etc I am not so sure. Could disrupt the flow of the game. Example, diving in the penalty area is kinda subjective... don't you guys think? They can look at the replay over and over again and still be undecided. I mean... we have seen our fair share of replays... and... well....
