Hi LYN member..

I would like to share my renovation journey laugh.gif

The house is a basic 10years old 800++sqft apartment unit with 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom (got 2 small single-bed bedroom and 2 double-bed bedroom). no ceiling fans in bedroom, basic tile, all basic. Move-in on Dec'15 and just started my journey on Oct'16 after got enough money from saving. I had to break-down my renovation by space-area as my financial quite tight, need to save on my monthly salary paid.

We started on master bedroom first on Oct'16 as we need storage on keeping all our clothes (its our biggest priority),change the old master bedroom sliding window to swing aluminum mutipoint casement window with tempered-glass, and close-out back patio area as i plan to convert it to a wet-kitchen.

The journey starts here..

I provide my 3D plan to my carpenter.its a minimalist japanese theme bedroom with raised tatami(platform) bed. the reason behind this idea because im tired on cleaning dust build-up around my bed headboard everyday. The wardrobe also get more depth as i want to use IKEA PAX wardrobe accesories.

respect ur creativity and ur DIY job, nice design
Cost of the casement window?
*
Thanks! biggrin.gif

The casement windows cost me rm1.4k, its powder-coated white with 8mm green TG. Expensive because of multipoint lock as i dont plan to put grill.my unit on 1st floor, gated and guarded.

The wet kitchen casement window cost me rm400,its 4ftx1ft 5mm emerald TG with frosted tint.also white powder-coated.

The shop told me if change all windows can get cheaper, but im tight in budget. So i just bear the contra.other windows will be change later.

Workmanship is good, they use indon carpenter. I myself went to their workshop to see their work. Im quite a fussy person but the owner were nice to advise n listen to me. They even redo my laundry cabinet as the alignment a bit off.

If u want budget n good cabinet,i do recommend him smile.gif
