QUOTE(pisces @ Jul 30 2009, 10:23 AM) I had been in Taiwan since 18/07 and never see any nice Pinang chicks-all are middle aged aunties wearing short pants. you must have a case of real bad luck. i was there barely a week and i saw plenty. lol. the pinang sucks though.. weird tasteMalaysians will be granted a month stay without any visa application, all you need to do is just filling up the embarkation form. Was in Taipei for 3 days, Hualien 3 days, Chuifeng 3 days, Keelung 1 day and now already spending the 3rd day in Taichung planning to vist the south. Will be back on 06/08. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Aug 23 2009, 10:10 PM) Free and easy is nice as Taiwan has excellent public transportation. All very competitive too. thsr tickets price will make you shit brix. and some places like alishan, I don't think u can reach via public transport. No need to go on tour package unless you wanted to those go along with aunty/uncle/ah mas that sit in bus. Taiwan now has the super high speed train. I find it very easy to travel from one city to another. http://www.thsrc.com.tw/en/ |

jiou fen is nice.. but better if u can go w/o tour package and you can spend as much time as you want there.
last time i went, the tour guide only let us stay 1 hour wtf. not enough time to see or do anything at all. n the worst thing is the journey there alone already took 1 hour. so in 3 hours of this jiou fen trip, 2 hours were spent in a van ffuuuuuu |

Please don't carry any RM to TWD. It's very hard to find a money changer that accepts RM. USD is accepted everywhere

keelung/jioufen/yehliou in 1 day is do-able. but do note it will be very rush and you probably won't have the time to explore the places as thorough as possible.
btw, got earthquake in TW |

QUOTE(stimix @ Mar 14 2010, 04:31 PM) AA is using biiger plane i.e AA X if not mistaken A330/A340. MAS is using the latest Boeng 737..but still small & narrower than AA A320..furthermore the toilet is limited to the back row & pray hard you won't get those seats closer to the back..Otherwise...expecting excuse me, excuse me...& long que to the toilet...& the seat also the similar AA black leather & inflight entertainment scrrens are shared & not personal...Food...nothing beat AA nasi lemak why your MAS flight to Taiwan is so different compared to mine when did you fly with MAS |
