but when i ask my fren they all don wan to gv me a proper answer,some of my fren say is too early to discuss~
for the moment finding information alone...

searching for interesting place as i will do alot of photography on it...
and also some place to stay,still cant decide i should stay 7nite at taipei or stay different nite at different place.

hey,guys,anyone have experience renting motorbike at taiwan??do we need international license??any age limited?


One more thing,if my passport expiry on March 2011 and i will be travel on November 2010,do i need renew my passport?Because behind the passport got write tat we need apply passport if the travel time and the passport expiry date is less than 6month.It is a must??

should i go during june and july,i know is summer time,and raining...
june 27-12july...my plan was april,but airasia don have april promotion...
or i should wait next promotion for november(my second choice)..

will be at taiwan on 7april..

Day 1
Arrive taoyuan at 930am>1130/12pm take bullet train to zuoying>take bus/taxi to kenting town (estimate arrive around 6pm.)

Day 2
Travel around Kenting (rent motorbike)

Day 3
morning check out,back to Gaoxiong(高雄）>PU LI (埔里）-Stay one nite there.

Day 4
Morning arrive at sun moon lake>stay one nite there

Day 5
Back to tai zhong(台中）take train to hualien(花莲）>stay one nite

Day 6
Travel around 花莲

Day 7
Take train back to Taipei>stay one nite

Day 8
Play around taipei-101 buliding,jiufen,yeliu,dansui...

Day 9
Continue playing

Day 10
Early morning flight

Any problem or any suggestion?

jiufen & dansui u will need 1 day time each liao..
i think u need to adjust ur time here..
cause take bus to jiufen is sibeh far!

ya,their traffic is quite different from malaysia.I drive motorbike at kenting,hualien before, is ok,but you need to use to be the left side way,sometimes easy to forget!
but if the car got gps, it should not be a problem...or you can hire driver travel together, i got a drive he offer good price,i take his car before for 2 day at taipei,from morning 9am until 12am..haha..(advice you take him if you travel with a group person),if alone,den drive by urself/ public transport...
last time my travel is Taoyuan>kenting>Taichung>taipei>hualien>taipei

p/s:at kenting you should drive using motorbike!the feeling is so good!i love it..but not sure how the weather during nov/dec la...

yup,one year international license RM150,as long you have full license (not P,no age limit of 21),you can just go to JPJ and apply(within half hour,and also depend the crowd).
RM150 can save alot of money at some place,example of kenting, road at there actually very easy to understand,and of cuz,you can ask ppl at their to gv direction.

how many of you guys traveling？
i got nice cab driver contact with reasonable price,cause april i take his service,very good..
if u need the information let me know..

yup, he do..he even travel whole taiwan trip...

and for those who wanna go to taroko by train, better book the ticket online early, no harm to book early especially for express train...
i experience the it before,when i wanna take train from other place to hualien (not taipei), book early you no need to worry, can book 7am train,den you may arrive there around 9 or 10am.Then start the journey!

better get other tour that cost 3000/per car, also 8 hour tour, you can discuss with the driver where you wanna go..
overnite at hualien also not bad,not that rush,den back to taipei next morning at 9am,arrive tapei around 12pm or 1pm(that was my schedule last time) you may ask the driver bring you guys to some pasar malam at there, some hostel that very nice actually, 1 bed=1nite=around 500-600, very clean and nice environment(10-15min walk from hualien train station).

erm...i think so..
every train that you take, they have their own train no. , if you want take from taipei to hualien,i will suggest you to take early morning train, which is express(you may check at the website), if you miss out the express train,u travel time will more than 3-4 hours reach hualien..
you can choose from their website, and pay online the ticket by visa, after you arrive taipei, go and collect that ticket first or you reach 30min early to take you ticket..
and *if you plan to take their bullet train, you may book early(10-15days of your travel date and get 30% discount i think so)

Last, of cuz, u need to plan ur iternary betul betul confirm first..
