Like my lecturer always say... it's not some global epidemic that will threaten asia.. it's air asia that'll do the job..

any advice on TW money exchange? As a forumer has pointed out, USD has dropped. So should we still get usd and exchange it to NTD upon arriving in taiwan or get straight from msia?

Going to TW in dec on our own tour group with family members. 16 pax.. Thinking of wether to change NTD now or go there only change with USD..

not say nvr read the 1st page.. i think i went through the first couple pages many times.. still get confused by the rates.. haha..

As you've said in the previous post, now the difference is RM 14 for every RM 1000.. 0.014% which is not really much considering the hassle of breaking from the group to find a money changer. Plus normally airport rates are not very good right?

anything interesting to see in the abovementioned places? Bringing my mum there with a few other relatives thus couldn't go free & easy.. I personally would like to plan my own itinerary but apparently my relatives all want to have their best value for money thus trying to go for tour which goes to as many places as possible..

flying off to taiwan in a couple hours.. hope to have a good time there. Will update on weather and stuff while there.

Btw, am bringing my ipad along. is it easy to find wifi hotspot? Also, can i get a prepaid sim card for 3g data access on my phone? Do they have like daily flat rate kind of thing? cos i can use my phone as access point for ipad.

finally managed to get taiwan tickets @ rm 710 per person all in.. include 20kg luggage two way for two person (i think i overbooked this. Couldn't change it for fear of loosing the booking)..

Air asia really needs to step up their IT systems... it really sucks.. whole day gone.. Initially got 125 in the morning for each way but the system couldn't process.. have to add up so much more..

Btw, travelling in May first week.. weather should be fine right?

Haih I know. But can't change the booking di. Wasted almost hundred bucks there..
