I just went to Taipei at March. Here to share the review of the accommodation which I've stayed in Taipei.

Review: Just a normal inn. But it's clean and cheap. The room has those basic facilities, like: TV, aircon, bath tub, hair dryer, coffee, toiletries and even condom. MRT station (C.K.S Memorial Hall Station) is just 3 mins walk. I got a rate of NTD1080 per night. Weekdays and weekend will be same price.



内江商旅 (Nei Jiang Hotel) - http://www.neijiang-hotel.com.tw/
Review: Nice environment, Clean and Cheap. Environment is a lot better than Carry Inn. Located at XiMenDing. The room has those basic facilities, like: TV, aircon, hair dryer, coffee, fridge, kettle, toiletries and condom too. (I wonder why each room in Taiwan provide condoms).The only thing I don't really like is the air-con is centralized. I couldn't adjust the temperature to what I want. MRT station (Xi Men Station) is just 5 mins walk away. Got promotion rate of NTD1350 per night, inclusive of breakfast. (Just sandwiches and drinks). Weekend price will be slightly higher than weekdays.

薇阁汽车旅馆（大直）(We-Go Motel in DaZhi) - http://www.we-go.com.tw/dazhi/index.aspx
Review: A very special theme-based cozy motel. Price is not cheap but there is a lot of fun in the room. The rooms are designed by some local designer. Facilities included KTV, Jakuzzi, Steam Bath... It's meant to be a couple room as they provided blue film, condoms and even lubricant. The toiletries are separate for guys and gals. They have all those standard stuffs, shaver, even hair gel for guys. While they provide women shaver, pad, panty liner, hair clip for gals. My room price is NTD3800 per night. Price is depending what size of room you are getting. Weekend rates will be higher than weekdays. It's recommended to go on weekdays and they also can rent in hours only.






风之谷民宿（九份） (Feng Zhi Gu in Jiu Fen) - http://tw.myblog.yahoo.com/fongigu/
Review: A very comfortable and warm home-stay. The owner is very nice and passion. The place is like heaven. Can see both sea view and mountain view. It really gives me a feel as staying in my home. Feng Zhi Gu has only 3 rooms. 1 small and 2 big. Small room has 1 twin bed while big room has 2 twin beds. I got the small room for NTD2500.

heard from local, Wu Lai 乌来 has hotspring too. And the hotspring there is different from beitou. Beitou hotspring has Sulfur smell but WuLai hotspring doesn't. However, WuLai doesn't have much public transport there, you may need to take a taxi or rent a van.

sorry i dono bout that, cos the locals said is not very convenient to go wu lai so i chose to go Xin Bei Tou by MRT. i went to Quan Du hotspring hotel, those are private rooms. NTD899 per room. u can get cheapest till NTD790 too. depending on room.

Added on April 13, 2010, 7:03 pmi did not get cheap clothes in WuFenPu... mmost of the cheap clothes are like China clothes which is not nice. Those with nice fashion also need like NTD390 and above. So, i found it as normal price instead of cheap price.

However, i can really find cheap boots there! i bought a pair of boots for only NTD500. my fren bought a set of coat + pants + vest for only NTD3700. this is really a good bargain.

oh, ya.. i found out that using credit card there is cheaper than u use cash. but i heard tat is jus local bank credit card has cheaper exchange rate.

eg: I've used PBB credit card for the motel which is NTD3800. if we were to use cash which the exchange rate for tat time is RM11: NTD100 = RM418. But the CC only charge me RM395 (RM10.4 : NTD100) So don't bring too much cash there, those hotels can use CC to pay. but remember to use local bank CC. i think citibank / hsbc will not be having tis rate.

you can consider this minsu.. mayb u think the price is high but it's worthy cos their minsu is special.. is like at the middle of the mountain.. somemore the owner is very frenly. if u have 5 person, i think u may get the big room. i dono how much is the big room.
