I would personally prefer the Future Star Hotel, if the rooms are available on the dates of our visit, since its selling at NTW1,280 for a double room with attached bathroom which is rather spacious compared to getting a bed in a Dorm for about NTW500, sharing a bathroom with 5 others or more.
Further the Airport Bus stops in front of the Future Star Hotel.

it depends on the season that you are travelling. for travelling in august/sept 2010, the fares were RM213 (RM74+RM25 and RM74+RM40) for a return from 5 - 12 August from AirAsia. didnt manage to book since we need to take 6 days off work.

planning to go taiwan this dec...scouting out for airasia now..just out of my curiosity..issit sufficient to bring only 7kg (air asia for 8 days) hand carry from kl to taiwan (no check in bag to save some money =p) but 15kg check in bag from taiwan to kl.

i would think its sufficient to bring a hand carry whereby you could stuff all your clothings in the bag and do your laundry in Taiwan.

Bear in mind that winter clothings/jacket is required during the travel period.

When do you intend to fly? As we looking forward to our trip in Dec 2010 too...
