self exploring better...
buy one travel guide will be enough for you teach you travel alone.
some more it's Mandarin speaking place...if you know Mandarin, more easier to communicate. If you are ABC, Taiwanese also know how to speak English..so no worry...unless you speak French or Arabian then I can't help u

12 days trips..

any suggestions for my trip for this 12 days?

because at first plan to go with my gf and my friends but then they last minutes back off because of the typhoon, they rather fined for penalty and change the schedule till next year than rather go end of November.

Now only left me and my gf going only....so any good suggestion for these 12 days trip?

QUOTE(pino88 @ Oct 14 2009, 02:01 PM)
After reading the post, I've decided to go on my own instead of taking ground arrangement. I have total 7 nights in taiwan end of dec, basicly i would like to stay 3 nights in taipei, 1 night in hualien, 1 night in ching jing farm, 1 night in alishan, 1 night in tao yuan.
But ah, i got no idea how to go each destination to next destination. I will do more research. but need some recommendation from u all also.
I've a problem here, i wanted to go alishan so much, but after reading some articles in travel blog / taiwan blog / etc, noted that the road going up to alishan is koyak! is there any altenative way to go to alishan? there's a rail right? still ok ka?

my itinerary:-
day 1: kul - tpe
overnight taoyuan

day 2: taoyuan visit to sunflower farm, later take bus to hualien & taroko
overnight hualien

day 3: taroko > ching jing farm
possible ka????
Possible but not recommended cuz the road from taroko to ching jing is very adventure and very risky.

day 4: ching jing farm > alishan
possible ka???
impossible for now because according to many, of 4x4 mountain car can reach alishan and now nothing to see there cuz the typhoon already destroy there badly[COLOR]

day 5: alishan > tpe
[COLOR=red]So instead of alishan, you should change to other places

day 6: tpe

day 7: tpe

day 8: tpe > kl

Is my itinerary ok? so blur now..need some advise..

in red is my comments

=======================

by the way I having problems for the following..hope some experts here can help me

1. any hotel to recommend at TaiChung? (Reached TaoYuan me straight take train to TaiChung)
2. any nice BB home to recommend at Ching Jing? (from TaiChung to Ching Jing...take what transport? )
3. any nice BB home to recommend at Sun Moon Lake? (from Ching Jing to Sun Moon Lake...take what transport?)
4. after Sun Moon Lake...I am thinking whether my next stop is KaoShiong, Tainan or TaiTung for a day stop then from either one of these 3 places will headed up to Hua Lian (I will stay 2 days here...one day for Hua Lian nearby after i arrived from either one of the 3 cities & one full day for Tarako)
5. any nice hotel to recommend at KeeLung? because from Hua Lian to KeeLung I am planning to stop by there to visit places like Jiu Fe, Jin Kua and Kee Lung Night Market then next day only headed back to Taipei where I will spend 4 days there (Already done booking on Taipei, this one no worry)

Please help me out. icon_question.gif

So I am so lucky and quickly fill up the credit card authorisation letter and mail them back to confirm my booking rclxms.gif

Guess I have to e-mail them and tell them my information (name and passport number) and arrange Mr. Chen for tour guide to Tarako Gorge.

cuz i never been to Taiwan before. Based on what you said (like Cameron weather) then no problem for me because at Cameron at night I only wearing jersey and short pants went out, so do Genting. So, it's not a big deal for me lar if like that

but just in case sudden cold (han liu)....I will bring along sweater just in case.
