You can smugler in without them notice or even they will just close one eye..but do you think yopu can escape the International liquid ruling?  biggrin.gif

You can buy cheaper water via the 1901 burger outlet there for ~ RM2.50 rather than RM3 buying from Air Asia..  biggrin.gif

Hey there, have been reading through the posts.

Am currently planning a trip to Taiwan during mid-July (it's going to be super hot). Have only bought the tickets. The trip is for 7D 6N  rclxms.gif

Firstly, any recommendations on reasonable hotels / hostel?
Secondly, I would appreciate assistance from fellow forum whom have been to Taiwan to share your itinerary with me?  icon_question.gif

It's a rather daunting task to be planning a trip for a group of 5 people for the first time  rclxub.gif

Thanks in advance!~  thumbup.gif

Meaning to say with 7 days i can go around whole of taiwan? will it be too pack / rushing?

As I havent been there before, Do u take Taipei as the base and then from there u move around? is the distance between the surrounding areas near or are they far that it would be wiser to stay at a different hotel at different places.

Am totally lost now, haha looking at the map i'm not sure how to plan. In general, how would the recommended movement be? meaning start from which city and then move on to where and where??  hmm.gif

i think u can refer to kampungboycitygirl's itinerary.. they r 6d6n.. abt the same range like u..

7D6N. You probably having xtra days that you can explore Kaoshiung/Taichung and another day to Taroko

For me even only 5d4N, I able to do Taroko already including other areas surrounding Taipei such as Jiufen/Yehliu/Dansui & Taipei itself..I only missed 2 areas in Taipei i.e Beitoui, YangMingshan & Wulai area.

If 7D6N, you probably can cover those areas I missed above if you decided not going to Kaoshiong/Taichong

hi Stimix,

Movement depending on you. To juelien, the speed train service (2hrs via Taroko Express) need advance booking otherwise no ticket. Normalconventional train (Same pricing, most of the time also full and if you insist just buy the "Standby" ticket ion the spot..Well, most of the time you will be standing haha...Normal train ~ 3.5hrs journey to hualien

Added on April 19, 2011, 9:30 pmTaroko express from Taipei main station. Option of choosing Taroko express (2hrs) or normal slow train ~ 3.5-4hrs. Please book in advance.
