QUOTE(kmarc @ May 7 2017, 11:27 AM) Damn, look at steem and Doge. My dark horse still marching on but big roadblocks to 200 sats. Hey kmarc, is your dark horse SC? Ya ya, the crazy guy with 2 hardware wallet! Well, I wouldn't say totally crazy. Millionaires are made from smart investments, crazy gambling, risk taking or what not. 10% is only a general rule for those who has a low risk appetite which unfortunately, won't get a person far (unless it is cryptos! Just don't go gambling away your properties or life savings!!! I will probably look for you soon. Lowyat members + bulk purchase got more discount or not? I still figuring out what's the best way to obtain some SC with the lowest rate. |

QUOTE(blueblueoutofblue @ May 8 2017, 10:12 AM) Am malaysian, i work and stay in Singapore... Ayam using coinhako and living in SG now too.i search and got coinhako.com is this good? any other better website work out for me? btw, i only have singapore banking account atm... So far so good, and of course I will always transfer my eth to my own wallet instead of storing them for long term investment. The catch is you need to verify by taking a photo holding to your ID They used xfers to deposit money hence need to do verification on both coinhako and xfers. Hope this helps |

QUOTE(WooTz @ May 8 2017, 10:21 AM) You have plenty of choices, yeah Coinhako is fine. I tried coinbase initially, it don't really work with xfers (the only way for SG), having this issue:Don't forget you have access to Coinbase and Gemini too. https://community.coinbase.com/t/xfers-singapore/14069 Contacted them but no reply, only automated email requesting to check on FAQ, hence I don't really have faith with them when they don't bother to reply my support ticket. |

QUOTE(WooTz @ May 8 2017, 11:58 AM) It's either Ripple is undergoing mother of all pumps to 6.3 billion or Ethereum is severely undervalued. My 0000.2 ETH centsSo which is it?! I want to believe. I still strongly believe in ETH rather than Ripple, simply being most of the Ripple is still held by the devs. And the usage of Ripple from my understanding is to replace SWIFT for banks. Banks can just purchase Ripple from the devs, without going through exchanges. It can dilute the value when the devs pump in more Ripple to the market. Sounds like centralised to me. While ETH allows smart contracts that allow more DAPPS to be developed, which I believe that's the future. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. |

QUOTE(Chelsea-Fan @ May 30 2017, 10:54 AM) Really hope can be approved by today. Then need another day for the wire transfer to reach my account. If you have a coinhako account, deposit directly via SG Bank works for me. My account is credited in less than a dayxref account is temporary not available in coinbase. I cant deposit money to buy more. Credit card had 3.55% surcharge and only S$100 weekly |

I found a way to purchase on Coinbase if you are in SG. Although Xfers deposit is down, here's an alternative way.
1. Deposit money to Coinhako 2. Withdraw money from Coinhako to Xfers (instant and cost $1) 3. Purchase ETH from Coinbase with your Xfers 4. Profitz! |

QUOTE(TheReaderReads @ Jun 7 2017, 10:15 AM) Noted! Well Gemini does not provide ALTS like STRAT. The easiest way is to purchase some BTC and transfer to bittrex or polo to purchase others coins u needed. Now that I presume that I have purchased my hardware wallet (booked actually) I am looking to purchase ETH then STRATIS stratis is alittle complicated for me as I need to own BTC, I am not sure how to do about it any guide on Gemini for purchasing alt coin like stratis? Gemini seem to have a very "lost" website. |

QUOTE(TheReaderReads @ Jun 7 2017, 10:55 AM) since I am very new Sure thing, I'm not a pro too. just following advice on forums.step by step instruction is fully appreciated hahaha ok so we start buying BTC from? coinbase? then transfer to bittrex n polo? can I just buy BTC from bittrex with USD? Are you based in SG? If so, here's my route: Fund my Gemini account, purchase some BTC and ETH. Send BTC to Bittrex wallet. Then on Bittrex u can purchase STRAT. And of course u can use coinbase to purcahse BTC/ETH too, if you managed to fund coinbase with SGD |

QUOTE(TheReaderReads @ Jun 7 2017, 11:04 AM) thx! coinhako is fine too, since they provide direct SG FAST bank transfer and it only takes a day to credit your account.yes base in SG so u too using Gemini? My office have somekind of firewall to coinbase coinhako is alright though I dun have to purchase 1BTC coin right? I can just purchase a 0.2BTC right? But seems their rates are a bit premium compared to other exchanges. I used to use them last few months. Yep I'm using Gemini, Coinhako and Coinbase. Never hurt to have few exchanges accounts ready. |

QUOTE(TheReaderReads @ Jun 9 2017, 01:46 PM) Technically all sites are exchange, you are always buying from someone who is selling. The exchange happens when buyer price met seller price. While in fybsg, too many Sg people not willing to sell bitcoin hence the spread is very huge. |
