Yes, the Ledger hardware wallet supports BTC, LTC, Zcash, ETH and all ERC20 based tokens via MyEtherWallet.

Just keep your PIN and 24 word seed secure and you can plug it on any virus infested computer and transact without worry.

Wow wow wow! ETH at USD 57! thumbup.gif

Errm... previous purchase of ETH now seems not so painful.... biggrin.gif

Yes, of course I do.
But because back then I was only accumulating bitcoin, the hardware wallet that I bought could only support bitcoin (CoolWallet).
These days, I recommend you get the Ledger Nano S.
Hardware wallets don't actually store "coins", but rather they store the private keys to your coins.
Always remember, whoever holds the private keys, control and own the coins.

So is Ledger Nano S relatively matured by now? I mean, will there be any like Ledger 2.0 which has enhanced features and support more crypto be released soon?

I have check the price it came up to EUR77 including shipping, so is about 77*4.5 MYR ~ 350
gonna do this to protect my crypto

When you consider the following:

- haven't raiden
- haven't seen major dapps leaving beta, some haven't even ICO yet.
- haven't seen second batch of EEA members and their public chain products
- haven't start ENS and lock up tons of ETH
- haven't metropolis zero knowledge proofs
- haven't hybrid PoS
- haven't seen major Chinese exchange adding ETH
- Bitcoin haven't flip 50%
- haven't factor in the current financial climate, with the stock market bubble and all.

$57 is very very very cheap.

There the Ledger blue, that comes with touchscreen and Bluetooth, but really it's better to K.I.S.S. (Keep it short and simple)

Crypto support depends on popularity, if another Bitcoin or Ether emerges I'm sure they'll be added for Nano S too.

Your house/car keys also not very fancy, only need to be practical. That goes for crypto security as well.

iEx.ec (RLC) Seem promising.
Looks like it almost similar with Golem concept.
RLC just finish their ico and get 10m i think within 6 hour.
Traded in liqui.io before this. Today got listed in bittrex ico open price probably 17k sats.(might get added in polo later)
Jump to 28-29k now. I missed it when it got down to 20k sats. (No extra fund) cry.gif
Just gonna focus on GNT for now.

The developers will usually add on other cryptocurrencies if it becomes popular. It is usually more of a software issue rather than hardware.

Ledger previously didn't support Ripple (XRP). However, XRP community requested support and finally the developers agreed to add it in. I think it is still in the process.

Trezor previously didn't support ETH but recently added support. Also didn't support litecoin natively on Trezor wallet app but recently it did. Again, still in the process to tweak the software. From what I heard, Trezor is coming out with Trezor 2.0.

One thing with all these ICOs is that I see so many that launch with great hype, then promptly nose-dive and end up losing 99% of their original price within a very short period of time.
Makes me afraid to commit to ICOs.

Yeah.... and to think that 32 billion is actually nothing compared to the potential amount of money out there!

One thing I don't understand is why ETC is going up??? I thought buying ETC is indirectly supporting hackers? hmm.gif

So I presume that if I have the hardware wallet, I can transfer the coin from exchange to hardware wallet, and if I wanted to trade, I can transfer back to exchange to sell?

Btw just top up some ETH @ 0.045 BTC. I wanted to top up sub 0.040 however my fresh fund just came in today cry.gif
Anyway I just bought and keep
