Yeah, not sure what happened but when I see historical charts on some coins, they just drop like a rock on introduction.

ETH and I think, Ripple, is promising. Hope for the best!  smile.gif

That's true, look at ZCash, bloody hell......released at USD 9000, dropped to USD 26 within 3 months (that a net loss of 99.7% within 3 months...... blink.gif )
I really can't figure out why some do better than others......I guess it's really just a combination of marketing, a really revolutionary product, and purely being at the right place at the right time.

QUOTE(fxbnu6262 @ Apr 8 2017, 01:33 PM)
Anyone has any experience on this and use this before:-

A quick search by my friend Google reveals that this is a known scam.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1788826.0;all

Seriously, you really think they will pay you USD 10 just for posting their URL?
Which brings me to the next question......were you posting that question genuinely, or are you one of those who are actually posting their URL in forums to try and get that USD 10?

QUOTE(archangel22 @ Apr 8 2017, 02:45 PM)
Yea as weird as it sound, stalemate is prob better imo, one thing that everyone has to accept as it is for Bitcoin.
Mybe we're in the period where bitcoin is 'magically' solving itself.
I stopped trading alts for few days. Feels like a 'calm before storm' thingy. Who knows smile.gif
*
BTC is teasing USD 1200...... once it stabilises here, the other altcoins will stabilise as well.
I've also stopped trading alts for the moment, but only because I've run out of money...... sad.gif
Damn it, the only coin that I am really making a net loss in, is XRP.

This might also be the reason. Shld prob start looking for other exchange.
But im afraid any states auth will just implement the same rule.

Why do you need to start looking for other exchanges?
Are you living in Washington state USA at the moment?

No.
One state down, others tend to follow. And this may affect the exchange trading volume.

Ah OK.
But this is a state legislation, I would expect that all exchanges would have to follow it, no?

Really? That's bad unless they shorted ZCash. Weird that it sold for USD9000 when bitcoin was probably not even 1k yet.

Gosh, today is so boring. Hope to see some action soon.....

Yes. Kraken also closing down WA accounts. Other option maybe Bitsquare, a decentralized exchange. I hvnt read in details nor tried it. Briefly its like localbitcoin for altcoins.

Not sure if there's enough liquidity on Bitsquare, does anyone have the stats?

No, it's not a Poloniex problem.
It's a state legislation by the Washington state authorities.

With litecoin's segwit stalemate, it makes me a bit disappointed with cryptocurrencies, mainly on BTC. BTC was supposed to be decentralized but it looks like power is centralized to a few major miner groups. Progress can't happen due to the views, benefits and worse of all, the selfishness of some group. With ASICboost issue, it appears that certain group doesn't want progress because they will lose the advantage.

I guess it was unavoidable. In the end, it still boils down to the worse of human nature. What a laugh. Decentralized but still centralized. BTC was supposed to be not owned by anyone!

I think there are a few coins that try to avoid this centralization of power but I can't remember which one. In my mind, I hope that coin overtakes BTC and I would say good riddance to those holding power!!!! mad.gif

Edit : oh ya, here comes decred again! thumbup.gif

Your hatred is baseless. Just bcse your alts didnt perform well then you try to find something else to blame.

Do you know how Bitcoin Core work?

The Core has 100+ independent developers. Any proposal to upgrade Btc network, be it the block, miners machine, and full node, they must submit anonymously. Just like the founder Satoshi did.

They never force any user/miner to follow their vetted proposal. But if the proposal can be accepted by the users, it must be near absolute like 95% of segwit.

Again, when you dont know who is the founder of Bitcoin, it will never be a centralized blockchain. Bcse you cant influence the founder in any possible way. Every founder/person has weakness, as long as you know who it is.

Haha, you got me wrong. I don't hate BTC or any cryptocurrencies! I LOVED them and they have given me excitement and overall 200+% gain! And lending out my coins everyday makes me feel so loan shark!! biggrin.gif Up to now, Clams has returned me about USD 40+ and BTC USD 20+.

I don't pretend I know the whole situation but that's what I can observe from my 2 months in cryptocurrencies. If it were true, why do you have core, unlimited, segwit, etc? That's the problem. If a certain group doesn't want acceptance because it doesn't benefit them, they can prevent progress. Anyway, it is only my 0.000002 BTC opinion. wink.gif

Edit : Now the fallback to UASF. Tell me what you think of this in relation to what you had mentioned above:

Hey guys,
Just started with this btc thingy. Going through the first pages, testing with buying a little from remitano and luno. Are newbie questions welcome here? Obviously it shouldnt be something that already covered in your guide.
