Haha, on polo, altcoins/BTC only 6 coins are green and only one is mine. The other 30 are red.....  console.gif

Long term bro... long term......  smile.gif

I think for major coins like ETH, Dash and XMR, it will probably trade sideways until further news. People keep on thinking 14 April will be ETH's big news but I think I read somewhere it is probably in May. WooTz Come, give us some news on ETH!  biggrin.gif

Mybe you can try follow news on twitter as well.
It's like tweet warzone there. biggrin.gif
Real world we got Trump on Syria, in cryptoland we got Bitmain's/BU patent saga for ASICBoost. Perhaps both events affect BTC price.

Well, my EMC2 is still green at the moment so it's not all bad.
ETH will in May, yes.
My DCR seems to have gone into the abyss.

Oh, I just noticed E=mc2! Lol. Crossed off my list long time ago.

Yeah, my 2nd buy in was at 1161k..... buy when rising...... dry.gif

LTC not looking good. Need a major miner to join in or it will not reach 75%.... Still hoping for the best! smile.gif

XRP news - Persistent (company) global wallet uses ripple : https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/3706-persiste...et-uses-ripple/. Not asking anybody to buy, just want to see whether this news will affect XRP's prices.

Edit : Lol, after I posted the XRP news, AND WONDERING WHETHER I want to buy or not (which I didn't cry.gif), XRP shot up!!!! sweat.gif sweat.gif

As with a lot of startups, interesting concept with what looks like a proper company and a full team. Hmmmm.... never participate in an ICO before. Will read it further later on.

The only thing I can say is that it is Ethereum based!!! rclxms.gif

I say better wait for ethereum, ripple major bull run...so eventhough u join after a day of rally...there is still room for for more appreciation....

Yeah, not sure what happened but when I see historical charts on some coins, they just drop like a rock on introduction.

ETH and I think, Ripple, is promising. Hope for the best! smile.gif

Even litecoin can't even segwit properly even though it only needs 75%. I can't imagine how BTC can solve it's problem anytime soon.

Sorry to BTC supporters but I hope BTC won't solve it's problem for a long long time! innocent.gif

On the contrary, if Bitcoin remains as it is, the value will rise further my sole opinion rolleyes.gif

Bitcoin role as a limited amount, have gone mainstream, and is the door currency towards digital cash is key to cryptocurrency economy....

I even place a stop limit order had it breach 1209 price point, buy order will be executed....

Most possibly another major bullrun will occur.....

anyway dont take my word for it....just my personal opinion

Agreed. Imo these so called 'limitations' are actually features. Be it blocksize or consensus.
Funny thing is, instead of Bitcoin, countries are the one actually deciding to 'hardfork' their currency. Just like Japan. biggrin.gif Next shld be India on 20 Apr.

I don't know. Bitcoin looks static after the 1st ETF rejection, then increased a bit due to Japan. I'm thinking it will fluctuate depending on whether the news are good or bad.

The main problem now is the confirmation time : https://blockchain.info/charts/avg-confirmation-time

Recently a bit better but it is not useful if you made a transaction at a shop only to wait 1 hour for confirmation!

The way I see it: Think Bitcoin as physical gold. When you want to buy an iphone and you give the seller an ounce of gold as payment, seller wont simply accept it. Instead you need to present certificates, proof ownership, perhaps hire 3rd party to check its real gold or not, lawyer, bank etc. Those activities incur cost & time. More purchase, more cost. Hence makes it not as good as today's 'cash', yet.

Imho this is purely malleability issue. And logical way is to introduce sort of 'fiat' system, an IOU backed by Bitcoin network. Iirc Segwit able to do this. Perhaps some merge-mining or other type of soft-fork. Not simply increasing blocksize. That is just as good as printing money out of thin air, or an increase US debt ceiling. biggrin.gif

That's the CORE problem with so many UNLIMITED possibilities. biggrin.gif

Many factions thinking differently on how bitcoin should progress and develop. All has its merits. All has its disadvantages. All have their arguments. All doesn't give way. Stalemate! rclxub.gif

Come to think about it, most major cryptocurrencies have been trading sideways recently. BTC, ETH, Dash, XMR...... so boring.... yawn.gif

Yea as weird as it sound, stalemate is prob better imo, one thing that everyone has to accept as it is for Bitcoin.
Mybe we're in the period where bitcoin is 'magically' solving itself.
I stopped trading alts for few days. Feels like a 'calm before storm' thingy. Who knows smile.gif
