If I sell ETH and got USD deposited into my CC, then turn into my saving account locally, will I get tax from Malaysia government ? or any action from Bank Negara ?

Please advise.

Supposedly they're being hacked. Or maybe just an elaborate scam from the beginning. Their site looks amateurish too.

Moral of the story is to never ever trust your funds in someone hands when they're holding your private key, keep your private key to yourself! Never ever store funds you're not prepare to lose in exchanges, store them in cold offline wallet!

I found a way to purchase on Coinbase if you are in SG. Although Xfers deposit is down, here's an alternative way.
1. Deposit money to Coinhako
2. Withdraw money from Coinhako to Xfers (instant and cost $1)
3. Purchase ETH from Coinbase with your Xfers
4. Profitz!

I did my first trading with Gemini as well, thought I would chip in some experience when dealing with wire transfer from CIMB MY to Gemini account.
What I did was as follow:
1. Went to CIMB counter, ask to do telegraphic transfer (TT) to Gemini account.
2. Request to send USD250 @ RM4.27 per USD
3. As Gemini accounts needs a intermediary bank aka "agent" to send the money in, there was charges.
4. I received USD257 in my Gemini account
5. CIMB deduct RM1210 "main" transaction, RM30 for CIMB TT service, RM1.80 GST

Still figuring out their "agent" fee is per transaction or base on how much I sent.

Right now I'm trying to get a china eth trading account since they just open up.

Told them for trading purpose.
