How to add bank account in Gemini?

When i try to add bank account, they ask to wired transfer to their bank account.

I had never done any wired transfer before. Is there any difference between normal bank transfer and wired transfer?

Hope you can enlighten me on this.

Thanks  icon_question.gif

Hi all, im new to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. But I have registered for Luno, XBitAsia and also Poloniex.

At current prices, Luno charges RM11,125 while XbitAsia charges RM10,200 to buy 1 BTC while XE rates are RM9,343. Seems the spread is very high.

My intention is to buy some BTC but mainly other cryptocurrencies e.g Ethereum, Ripple, etc.

What is the best and cheapest way to transfer funds from a Malaysian bank account and purchase BTC and Eth?

Some people never does calculation and probably they fail in maths during secondary school.

They thought wire is the cheaper cost but infact it is not of they are buying small amount at some x value.

The effective cost will go as high as RM5.5x.
*
Nowadays Bitcoin transaction fee a bit high already smile.gif

Any amount of ETH deposited gets returned to sender, but the crazy high fee gets donated to miners already.
Not yet, maybe late June will begin to cash out some
Satoshi Nakamoto meant Bitcoin to be used as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, money for the billions of unbanked, not for speculators recycling pumps and dumps
This is pre-Huobi hype and backlogged deposits FOMOing in, also some panic sellers last weekend might recoup their losses now by dipping in again.

There's the risk of Chinese ETH miners begin selling their stack after Huobi adds ETH tomorrow, already got some limit buys set.
Retiring now, catching up with my games/anime backlog first. Then I'll dive into Ethereum books and learn some coding.

In a FBI thread, I get a seriously technical answer which bears no resemblance to how the real world works.

Do you know what GDP means? Do you know what interest rate means? Do you know why and how foreign reserves work how and why.

How a blockchain miner gets what, you tell me how that relates to Finance, Business and Investment?
*
Am not so sure... so playing forex and stock market contribute to a country GDP? Is that what you trying to say ?
Then why some country doesn't have legal forex exhange at all for its citizen , only The Central bank allow to deal in orex ?

QUOTE(howszat @ Jun 1 2017, 12:20 AM)
Aiya, why so dishonest? I never said anything about making profits only.

My questions were about how it relates to economy and GDP.
*
I see, can you send your question to 47 Japanese bank that going to Implement by using Ripple ?

Can you question those merchant that currently using Bitcoin as monetary transaction since you said it does not contribute to GDP and economy ?

Business that implement by accepting Bitcoin as mode of payment , they are idiot ?

PayPal, Microsoft , just few example .

All this company does not contribute to GDP and economy ?

It seem that you are not seeing the whole picture, just based on what you think how the economy works and run.

Of course, if you are so called expert and knowledgeable in economy, write a letter to Japanese government , Chinese government even Australia government that are looking into passing law for using cryptocurrency.

Tell them, hei you, this cryptocurrency does not contribute to your economy and GDP! You should drop it because it's a money game like JJPTR.

Ahhhh... and I thought we want to have some intelligent discussion. So you're saying gold has no inherent value and only for speculation? Scam too right? For your information, gold reserve in this world is 170,000,000 kg with an estimated value in trillions. And that's only talking about gold. I guess you will cry scam for a lot of things...... that would be a bitter life to live......

Makes me think of a guy running into an art auction house screaming "SCAM" because a painting was sold for 50 million. Good, I don't have to waste time with you.

I hope he will present his knowledge in a proper proposal and lobby to government around the world

China market going to open in couple of hours for ETH. Going to be fun day. I was monitoring Polo for good 8 hours since 12am. It still stuck around 0.101 - 0.098

Don't play margin!!!

Just curious, are you profiting from playing margin? To me, unless one is an expert or extremely lucky, the chances to win most of the time would be very slim.

Waw! Look at Nexium. And I sold half of Nexium to fund other coins.  cry.gif
