Being a support is not an easy role, always helping your carry in stacking the creeps to have a faster farming and Exp., helping them when they are ganked and you have to sacrifice just to save your carry's life. Always buy wards just not to gank by enemies. Then, after all your sacrifices for the good sake of the team, your carry always blaming, they always say "noob! put wards...skill" you even you do your role and job well. confused.gif Justice for all those supports who's always blamed. sad.gif

Nah, these days it's the carries that usually gets blamed. Especially for farming in jungle 40 minutes non stop & losing their balls during clash (they tend to be the first to flee). You know, those typical WK or LC that doesn't come out of jungle until they got like 5 Divine Rapiers & then instantly invi away the moment the team bumped into an enemy.

chii mains CM as support, played 700 games of CM.
supports don't get flamed if doing the job properly. wards/courier/gank if done correctly, no people will complain.

sacrificing part a bit difficult, yes, support can help carry to escape, but depends on situation also
if carry is just plain idiotic, then u can't do much except pray enemy carry more noob.

Vision is important, but somehow you need to adapt. If you notice your fellow carry don't have any sense of map awareness, then you should ignore warding. Supporting is more than warding or pulling. Example is see how greedy support playstyle like puppey. The most important thing is positioning and being in team fight due to the gold bounty. I always save my tp for ganks or for killing when enemy dive in too deep. I do my best not to use my tp for moving from base to Lane or vice versa.

And the moment the blind carry die ,he will find excuse to blame support for not putting ward .

i feel you bro haha.... i tried to maintain 2 wards on map all the time but when pushing time i tried to add 1 more for aggressive ward. but some how, cores love to scold support for not warding ..... i guess they never played support before so they didnt realised ward has cd time as well.... unless he wants me to ward the whole map with sentries.

anyway, im a offlaner then slowly playing more support due to 'all likes to be carry' issue in public game. supp life is hard, when u have lc that jungle dagger + shadow blade then blaming you for not stunning zues when he kissed the floor after 2 skills from zues (as if we have dagger to flw him when he dive in and deal heroes).... when u tell him 'u need bkb', his reply was epic 'they got pudge, bkb no use' and then go for more dmg item.

most importantly as a support, map awareness and the timing of nc pulls.
dont let the stack goes against your objective which is to pull enemy creep lane towards ur carries potential farming capability, if playing safelane.

always, and i mean ALWAYS carry a tp incase any lanes opponents tries to dive, you can counter them with tp's to avoid further more team clashes. one tp cud save lives in this game.

after map awareness, warding and dewarding could pose a threat or a lifesaver in certain circumstances. if warded properly, you get vision of nc/safelane/midlane opponents and to know what item they have or going for, lvl disadvantages etc...dewarding is only necessary when doing the action doesnt pose a threat to you. if you feed, your giving enemy advantage.

bounty and other runes: try to avoid giving enemy take runes if possible, no matter what runes they are.

sod clashes and rs timestamp is also very important for support's task.
buying dust when appropriate and when to decide to buy sentry's are also very crucial for supports when dealing wif invi heroes.

Agree to the above reply.

One thing most players don't understand is that Dust of Appearance is NOT the responsibility of the support.
ANYONE can buy Dust of Appearance. This applies to Smoke of Deceit as well.

Anyway, TS, if you find yourself not being respected for your role, then you should play with a clan/group of friends. They will value you more than those pub games players.

I disagree. Just like in any game in the market, there will be good and bad people. You just have to learn to deal with them.
