Well I do not mind using my Proton Saga for another year just to wait new Mazda CX-5. I heard that it will only be released next year. Just that my Proton is almost reaching the time where I need to change my timing belt. :S

Diesel engine is fine use in Malaysia, even more reliable than gasoline one, gasoline NA engine is better in small car like saga, myvi, axia... (1500cc and below) bigger car like suv, mpv better pick diesel turbocharged engine, Toyota and Nissan diesel engine is excellent too, but their bigger size vehicle with gasoline is terrible fuel consumption and very underpower. (Except 3500 cc and above, but don't dream good FC, power and torque is nice) That's  my driving experience. 

yeah, for my personal use always use motocycle, no parking fee and easily pass through traffic jam, even I got Axia already masuk 2 years already, but just odo meter clock only at 5850km, seldom use, for weekend with family to pasar minggu.. 

Been here since last year june, we actually assemble the cx5 here for Philippine and thai market, assembly already since beginning of local ckd

Under current economy, wiser for you to take own sweet time before getting committed. Rumours of election this year end, better to have more cash than owning the bank. Good thing of getting brand new CX5 with fighter jet air intake style grille, it's brand new and the feel is different. Malaysia is Mazda hub for ASEAN market, they sure will speed things up since CX5 is hot seller in Thailand. Unlike CX9 which has low demand in ASEAN market above affordability of most people
