As far as my knowledge tells, Kampung Nelayan is the only HALAL certified. But it is closing soon on after this month.
Would be glad if you guys know elsewhere.

Guys, I have muslim guests coming from semenanjung but having hard time finding HALAL certified seafood rest. here in Kota Kinabalu (I am orang KK myself)
As far as my knowledge tells, Kampung Nelayan is the only HALAL certified. But it is closing soon on after this month. Would be glad if you guys know elsewhere. |

think u mis understood halal...
if the place dont serve pork then usually ok(depends on visitors-some are ok) if no pork but the chicken, turki, lembu are not slaughtered (again depends on visitor-some are ok)in halal way then just serve prawn, fish, sotong etc This post has been edited by rupart: Mar 6 2017, 02:34 PM |

Just before the todak statue at jln fuad stephan, there are a lot of seafood restaurant (gerai style). Not sure about halal cert, but usually muslim will go there.
For seafood, its is not much concern for the halal status as long as they didnt use alcohol or any non halal stuff together in the meal. |

better u ask ur friend first whether it is a compulsory to visit only Halal certified restaurant, coz some muslim not so care, especially when they are far away from home...
