Meaning insider of the company might use it for their own benefit ? Pump up the price temporarily via share buyback and sell their own portion when price hit their target ?

I noticed this one company...very active in share buyback this year..
10mil buyback in 2020 vs only 700k buyback for the past 10 year.
sudden spike this year to ensure share price don't drop too much I think
I guess they do share buy back quite often then
