FLB huge volume breakout of 1.78 previously turned out to trap traders.... zzzz

Edit: I think it got to do with some error on share buy back from director and the next day amended announcement was sold instead of bought.

Hey guys, wanna get some opinion in one of my loss trade.

Attached Image

Stock was Mitra. Entered at black arrow because it broke consolidation with considerable volume on blue circle (it then retraced, didn't move lower, and move back up and that's where my entry was). Red line was my cut loss price. Yellow highlighted area then was a 5 cents divvy ex. So i also chose to move my stop loss 5 cents lower. Then Mitra announced it's not so good quarter report yesterday after market, and today it gapped down way past my SL price.

Would like to get some insight on where could i improve on this trade. And for cases where a stock gap down way past my SL (normally due to qtr report announcement/news), usually the best course of action i could take is cut as fast as possible ya?

The urge to buy previous darling stocks at a discount price is sometimes quite strong. Time to time really need to control oneself from these urges and emotions (FOMO, Greed). Is quite easy to switch from a trader to a 'investor' too.

These few days of rebound, a heavy sell down + bullish harami setup? Can be seen in a few counters, lol
