Just a quick summary of what I know,

Resolution: both have same resolution
Weight: HTC Vive is heavier, Oculus Rift is lighter, lighter is better for long hours use
Sound: Oculus Rift comes with attached headset, HTC Vive without.
Comfort: Very subjective as some people prefer HTC Vive padding and design while some prefer Oculus Rift
Position tracking: HTC Vive uses laser tracking while Oculus Rift uses camera(optical) tracking, in terms of experience, I'd say its really the same even though using different type of tracking method.
Play area: Oculus Standard (2 sensors) can get max about 8ft x 8ft, Oculus Roomscale Bundle (3 sensors) can get max about 12ft x 12ft, HTC Vive can also get about 12ft x 12ft.
Price: Even when compared to Oculus Room Scale Bundle (which cost more due to extra one more sensor), the HTC Vive still cost about RM500 extra.

So unless you really feel HTC Vive design and padding is more comfortable for you, OR you plan to setup play area of more than 140sqft, Or... maybe there's a specific game that is HTC Vive exclusive, and no one able to port it over to be compatible with Oculus Rift, otherwise I'd recommend Oculus Rift over HTC Vive.

not getting just yet, need to save money.

Free bump for you, cuz it's cheaper than even my US channels. if you don't know how to order things from US properly, don't. The tax will kill you, buy from this guy instead.
