They're talking about the real Windows Vista's Sidebar here... I think it's runnable on XP with a few tweaks but, no aero... I think the gadget autoload mechanism's broken on XP too... Well, after suffering having 20++MBs of my memory eaten by a slab of glass on the side of my screen + some gadgets, I've ditched sidebar... The built in Wheather Vista Gadget was rather accurate. Yesterday night i was online and i saw the wheather change to raining.. Within 10 minute it really does rain...

actually we can install gadget by just double click the file we download in xx.gadget.
Does that actually make any diff with the method above compare to renaming to zip file then unzip to a created xx.gadget folder and move the folder in gadget folder? Anyone can enlighten me? Im new to vista btw |

I'ved found a clock,it's not a sidebar gadget,it's stand alone clock,what i saw,it's nice n cute clock,got variable design,n on it;s manual it said we can customised it's face oso,but didnt have much time to xplore d menu ,what i saw,it has more functions too,like calendar and alarm,

here i just wanna to share my desktop and side bar preview..hope can get your comment to improve it....just wanna to share that i am using black edition vista and already have a lot of sidebar gadget inside it..just pick and preview..i don't know where they get that kind of sidebar..and also for yahoo massager got special edition for vista as i shown below..

erm...i have just installed this wireless network meter to my sidebar yesterday and now i have difficulties trying to uninstall it..anyone knows how to uninstall it????..pls help

If you wanna remove it from your sidebar, just right click the application then click close gadget.
If wanna uninstall it, just go to "Add gadgets", then right click that application then press uninstall. |

I like to amuse myself with the Vista PANIC BUTTON. Everytime I feel that Vista is crapping up against me I press the red button and a loud noise will fill the house (cue sounds of scoldings from parents)

guys, im using a set of sidebars for my laptop, and up with other apps, my memory usage is 42% by average...is this too much? i dont find my laptop laggy though...jz wana know if im pushing my memory to upper limits...thanks
