Normal water contain chlorine that is slightly acidic. To nutralize the acid, alkaline were introduced. That is the concept. I think the ads is exaggerate.

hydrogen, when in dissolved form is H+ ion, H+ is acidic
alkaline, unless specifically caused by bicarbonate or some other chemical, will normally be OH- ion. H+ and OH- combine to form H2O, so the reaction cancel out each other and just give you water. the hydrogen and alkaline healthy is bullshit. |

My family and i have been drinking filtered water, unboiled for over 10 years ... ( using other brand). Conclusion... filtered water is safe. I think any brand is ok.
