hey, i'm just trying out my new d70s. and i really dunno how to take good shots.
i like my pictures which focuses on one object, and blurs the rest out. narrow depth of field isit? smile.gif i've been reading the manual... but i need ... some 'kungfu' touch from u guys...

like these pictures above, how do u focus on her face, and blur the hands out, and the background out?
must u get a better lens? i'm using the kit d70s lens AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm one.

and what must u set on the camera?
AF-area mode? dynamic, single area? closest object? which one?
and what about metering? center weighted, or spot?

DOES IT MATTER? targeting and metering, or does it depend on somehitng else? smile.gif sorry .. i'm really a noob. i should post my pics up...let u guys laugh smile.gif
