hmm being a pilot is way to earn more than RM4-5k per month..your starting pay,lets say MAS,would be basic rm5k,plus the other non taxable allowances will bring you a gross of RM10k per month..thats starting pay mind you..after you have gained some experiences and upgraded urself to the widebodies,u can expect a take home pay of RM15k(more or less),as a First officer on the 777 or 747.only downside of it is that u have a salary ceiling which is about RM27-30k p.m as a widebody captain,and that would take YEARS of experience. Go for it if you have the passion and interest for flying .
