Feel jealous for those who received free upgrade from 30 to 50. advance 50 user here. waiting for upgrade like....

Any one received 50 to 100 Mbps upgrade already?

I am using Archer C7. UniFi 50 Mbps here. The C7 i bought by myself after tm refuse to upgrade my old L7 router to c5 due to the warranty finish already. We paying them monthly and they don't even bother to change the equipment as the package increases. My old Asus RT-N14UHP shows signs of dying and I've to rely on the L7 router where the speed drops dramatically. Finally, opt to buy archer c7 by myself.

As far as I concern, we paying them monthly, they cannot charge us any $$ since it is their duty to replace any equipment if the user decides to upgrade their packages. Even I am using the first edition of Hypptv box until now since tm is refusing to change (buy new one from them). I know they will charge rm53 for on-site visit, but the equipment is theirs. So why would they charge us?

No need bro. Because we buy from them. Unless we swap the router. However, I prefer to use my own router. Haha.

Archer C50 = Dual Band Router
Archer C5 = Dual Band Gigabit router.

My friend, my recommendation is, get your own router. Invest some money to get good quality router.

My friend, Even I also google up the information on the c5 router. Haha. So it is nice to share the information between individuals.

You can opt for TP Link router. I am using C7 with stock firmware. And it works well from the day I bought till now. You can opt for a single band routers.

Yes. AC1200 refers to the routers C5, C50 and C1200. Pardon me for my wrong information.

UniFi is was slow yesterday. I could not stream online. The speed drops drastically. Currently resides in sri serdang.

Unifi quite okay today. A good start for a good weekend.

Just checked my tm surprise once again. They said will be starting from July.

I am using C7. But I bought the router by myself from the authorized TP Link store. I satisfy with the router performance.

Did you ask to other forumer whether they get the c7 router for home? I thought C7 is reserved for unibiz?

Buy a new dual band router such as from Asus brand or tp link brand. Preferable brand, Asus.

Personally, I am using TP-Link Archer C7 (own router). Bought it for rm499 at challenger. Before this, i am using asus rt-n14uhp router for 3 years before it went kaput. Haha. Testing the tplink router for time being before switch back to asus in future. so give a try on a affordable router before you opt for a costly router that values your money.
